ECMAScript 6 (aka the new javascript) is coming soon! (hopefully…)

I’m surely not a very big fan of javascript, and that’s the reason why I’m looking forward to the day when the new WIP standard ECMAScript 6 will be available on web browsers.

This new version won’t fix all javascript idiosincracies, but having a bunch of new features and cool syntactic sugar will surely help a lot.

Meanwhile, I like to keep an eye on the next best things in the language: Axel Rauschmayer’s blog has an interesting page where he briefly discusses the main features with links to more detailed contents.
